This topic describes how to install the iProov Android Biometrics SDK.

Requirements

  • API: Level 21 (Android 5 Lollipop) and above

  • Compilation target, build tools, and Android compatibility libraries:

v8.0.0+ 30+

v7.5.0 (and earlier) 29+

Note

  • iProov provides all Android SDK and associated dependencies as a Maven repository.

  • If you are going to use the optional, alternative face detector configurations, there are additional dependency installation steps for Blazeface and ML Kit.
